Jaylen Patrick Goodin Neal 5 months, Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Jaylen is survived by his parents, Megan Goodin and Jason Neal; grandparents, Melissa Goodin, Krista Goodin, Jeff Goodin, Jim Poole, and Trisha Neal; great grandparents, Sue Kennedy, Roger Kennedy, Pam Goodin, Mike Goodin, Charlene Smith and Harlan Smith; uncles, Bradley St. Clair, Austin St. Clair, Cameron Hartman; aunt, Samantha Goodin; several cousins, and great aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home. Friends are invited to gather at the funeral home to greet family members prior to the funeral service on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared with the family at orileyfuneralhome.com.

Sneak Peek!

Here is my sneak peek for the Wild Thyme Fabric launch. I fell in LOVE with Patty Young's Flora and Fauna collection and incorporated those fabrics with one of Carolyn Gavin's Wild Thyme. This is not what I originally thought I was going to make, but I love it!!! I am also making Madeline's doll, Maisy a dress too!

One week check in!

Well, it has been one week since I started my weight loss journey. I weighed this morning and I did not lose or gain, BUT I have noticed that my abs are firming up. I did my Biggest Loser workout four times this week, but I did not cut back on the junk. I increased my water some, but not enough. I have done better about the pop. I am trying to limit myself to one can per day. Some days that is a CHALLENGE! I feel good! I could not do a man push a week ago and now I can do 5 without passing out! Progress!!!

Goals for this next week:

Continue to work out every other day on level one (30 min)

Try to drink 64 ounces of water per day

Cut out the unhealthy in between meal snacks

2010! I can not believe it!!! Of course the new year always brings on "resolutions" that I usually do not stick to. This year will be different... at least that is my intention. Here they are:

1. Lose 12.8 pounds~ that still keeps me in the "normal" BMI range. I am currently tenths of a point from "overweight"

2. Save more money than I spend. We are trying to buy a house and I need the dough.

3. Spend some individual time with each child each day doing something they enjoy.

oh, and

4. Try to blog more frequently!

Happy Birthday Michael!

I love my brother's birthday as it also marks 12 days until Christmas! The kids are SUPER excited and Matt and I are enjoying all the wonderment that little ones bring to the holiday season. I have enjoyed our break from selling the house. We talk to a new realtor on Wed. and I am positive that he will be the last one! Almost all my Christmas shopping is done and I am going to start some holiday baking with the kids. I have been sewing some OOAK spring dress to put in my etsy shop, but I am also enjoying the break from the custom world. I am trying to get my facebook fan page going. Thank you to my 13 fans!!! I appreciate each and everyone of you! I did finish Luke's first year photo book (yea me!) and I am caught up on our family 2009 book!!!
