Newspaper Fruit

I already mentioned that my empty glass dome was leaving me feeling unbalanced. I had a great idea to mod podge faux fruit with newspaper. These awesome candle holders from Lindsay were my inspiration.

Then I saw these on Pinterest and knew that was what I wanted to fill the empty void.

I ran to Michaels in search of faux fruit to mod podge and found these newspaper print fruit in the dollar section. Score!

Here they are under the dome. Now the room feels complete.

Taking the Plunge

The bigger kids are taking swimming lessons and although it has been somewhat exhausting to shuttle them 4 days in a row for two weeks and keep #3 entertained for 50 minutes it has been worth it! Here are some camera phone shots- awful I know!



Speaking of plunges I decided to join Pinterest. I am so happy to get rid of my endless "bookmark" pages and desktop file folder for ideas. I was not ready to take the plunge until I watched Beth from A2Z's tutorial video.
