Almost there...

Today we worked on "the chairs". All we have left is the back!!! I am SO excited. We have already purchased paint and I really want to paint the room before my big REVEAL! I have a confession to make: I really can not wait to submit my picture to my favorite blog Better After!!! I have to make the pillow covers and although I can sew clothes for Madeline for some reason I can not master the pillow. I want something like the tan one pictured below form Pottery Barn with the buttons. We will see!

Well, it only took a year or so to add a signature and change my time to the correct time zone! Baby steps!

You got a sneak of the fabric and here is the finished product! I love the genuine smile that Madeline is displaying, which is do to the fact that her daddy was behind me performing antics with her favorite kitty cat, named Kitty Cat. Thank you Matt!

40 days until our Disney Vacation!

I am happy to report that I am down 8 pounds, but I have 5-8 more to go. I am being flexible because I do not like dieting. I miss fountain cherry Dr. Pepper and butter. I have been so so about the exercising and that is what I need to focus on.

I am working on a new design for the DillyDally "Be Jolly" launch. Here is a sneak peak of the fabric that I am using!


I am also having Etsy drama. I purchased some items that have not been delivered and I feel as though I am a hostage negotiator. I NEED them for my trip! Everyone cross your fingers and toes!

The chairs... still unfinished. I need a motivator! I think I will set a goal right now to finish them by Friday. Matt is off and I can not do it with out him! ( I am scared to use the BIG staple gun).

Chair Update

Here is an almost finished chair. I will admit that this project is a lot harder than I initially thought. If it were not for my husband the chairs, foam, batting, three million staples and fabric would be sitting in the middle of the street. Slowly getting there. We did pick out the paint for the room. I can not wait to get rid of that 1995 hunter green!
